INDIVIDUAL ADVOCACY

Individual advocacy is support for a person living with a disability independent from any other service. CORAS can advocate on a persons behalf to speak out, defend and ensure their equal rights are being considered. In circumstances where a person is unable to advocate for themselves, or requires assistance to do so, CORAS can do so on their behalf.
Our advocates will listen to your concerns and identify your needs and will work with you to advocate for yourself.
CORAS provides assistance to people living with a disability to engage with and access mainstream and community services and manage matters which may adversely effect you.
For example, CORAS can support you in situations where your rights as a person living with a disability have not been considered or we will refer you onto other services better suited to assist you.

WE can:

SYSTEMIC ADVOCACY
