Colac Otway Regional Advocacy Service (CORAS) is a not for profit, community based services providing support to people with a disability across the Colac/Otway and Surf Coast regions.
CORAS is funded by the Federal Department of Social Services to provide advocacy, outreach and referrals to people living with disability. CORAS is managed by a voluntary board of management to ensure we uphold the principles of our mission statement.

Colac Otway Region Advocacy Service through its application as an advocacy service provider (CORAS) will provide individual advocacy to support people with disabilities residing in the Colac Otway and Surf Coast regions to:
CORAS will achieve success through building trusting relationships with consumers of our service, to reach outcomes that will enhance the lives of our consumers, and by encouraging our local community to be more inclusive, tolerant and to value and uphold each individual’s right to be protected and empowered to make decisions and choices.
In meeting the needs of our consumers, CORAS will act as follows:
